The state of the Google Find Hub tracker is really sad. I keep hoping that it'll improve but I don't see it getting any better.
I have a one that I leave in my car's glove box. At least a hundred cars will drive past my driveway everyday (maybe 15-20 feet away) but the tracker will only show the last location that my phone registered it while I was driving.
I have Samsung trackers that work really well but they only work with Samsungs. My Samsung trackers have no problem being detected from my driveway.

Google has a more aggressive privacy setting than Apple. You need Samsung and Google to have UWB phones.

4 of mine failed . there is a little metal prong that connects the terminal to the battery and they all lost their hold on the battery. Only on second battery. Had to modify them to keep them going.

Samsung tags even store daily travel history up to a week. Far more useful than apple airtags, that just shows last known location.

Its gotta be a pretty new phone because these tags require Bluetooth 6.0. My 2025 Motorola Phone is only 5.2.
