Let me break it down. First of all this does not include batteries, the most expensive part of the whole thing. It only says that once in small black text. The way they show the product makes you think it comes with a batteries already installed and you can plug it right in.
What makes this situation even more suspicious is the features and specs.

How is this acceptable to post this on a deal website when the information is everywhere? This is a freaking disaster of an item. It says 4 AAA batteries and they are even included. Wow.
Another thing is the lumens of measurement. I am a flashlight collector Fenix, watching youtubers actually measure the lumens with accurate tools.
These tughlax lights were claiming they could do 90k lumens and they took it off their product page when people called them out. Even in the comments people are saying its just a thousand lumens.
lol thats not worth using an 18650 js.
This is garbage. Straight up.
1) These flashlights DO NOT use any Alkaline batteries
2) These flashlights DO NOT use 4 AAA batteries >> SERIOUSLY!!!
(they use 2 18650 rechargeable batteries which are installed and included!!!)
HOW is it acceptable to post a TOTALLY ERRONEOUS review on a deal website when the information is EVERYWHERE??? WOW!!!
As you claim to be a "flashlight collector" you are certainly in the DARK with all your information about these items!!!
These are really decent flashlights for the money and the commenter above needs to delete his post...
His review is the only thing that is TOTALLY GARBAGE. STRAIGHT UP!!!
(Even stranger is that somehow his post has several "thumbs-up"s???)

This Tughlax 2 pack is a budget rechargeable flashlight set that stands out for its sturdy feel, USB C charging, LCD battery percentage display, and compact but long body that is easy to keep handy. The lights use included 18650 rechargeable batteries, and the larger double battery design may help runtime more than brightness. The main tradeoff is performance, since the beam is only slightly brighter than the smaller single battery version and the battery setup and listing details have been confusing. It is a practical basic light if you want simple utility over big lumen claims.
The flashlights can be charged via USB-C and show charging percent on the LCD.
The flashlights use 18650 batteries and support multiple sets purchase.
The larger model is physically substantial and can allow battery removal if cells die.
The deal price of two flashlights for $18 is achievable when applying the coupon.
The double-battery model may be only slightly brighter than the single-battery version rather than twice as bright.
The battery information and lumen claims appear inconsistent across listings, which can make specs feel misleading.
Some units stop charging after a few months due to loose or damaged USB-C ports.
The flashlight may fail to turn on after disconnecting the charging cable even at 100% charge.

From a review on Amazon "Around 2,000 lumens two 3.7v batterys but thay are soldered in the middle++ -- instead of +-+- which would make it 7.4 volts but it is 3.7 and has a red glow ring after light is off that glows in the dark charged from the led"
