Does it use 1 or 2 18650?

lol I really feel like everything connected to this light screams scam.

Let me break it down. First of all this does not include batteries, the most expensive part of the whole thing. It only says that once in small black text. The way they show the product makes you think it comes with a batteries already installed and you can plug it right in.

What makes this situation even more suspicious is the features and specs.

"Features & Specs

Additional Features Adjustable Focus, Adjustable Light Modes, High Lumens, High Power
Power Source Battery Powered
Light Source Type LED
Battery Type Alkaline

Number of Batteries 4 AAA batteries required. (included) < seriously?

Battery Description Alkaline
Mounting Type Handheld
Battery Life 12 hours
Light Source Special Features High Lumens, Adjustable Focus, Adjustable Light Modes, High Power
Runtime 4 hours
Number of Light Sources 2"

How is this acceptable to post this on a deal website when the information is everywhere? This is a freaking disaster of an item. It says 4 AAA batteries and they are even included. Wow.

Another thing is the lumens of measurement. I am a flashlight collector Fenix, watching youtubers actually measure the lumens with accurate tools.

These tughlax lights were claiming they could do 90k lumens and they took it off their product page when people called them out. Even in the comments people are saying its just a thousand lumens.
lol thats not worth using an 18650 js.

This is garbage. Straight up.

Apparently It does come with a battery, not two separate 18650 batteries.

From a review on Amazon "Around 2,000 lumens two 3.7v batterys but thay are soldered in the middle++ -- instead of +-+- which would make it 7.4 volts but it is 3.7 and has a red glow ring after light is off that glows in the dark charged from the led"

These are slightly over 9 in long (10 in with the len extended), so they are much harder to misplace or for the in-laws to put in their pockets. 😁

They're fine and a good addition to our flashlight collection. However if you are just starting your flashlight collection, I would suggest you start with the smaller and cheaper 6 in Tughlax (or similar brands) which are closer to $5 apiece. I found that the light output of this larger Tughlax only slightly better than its smaller sibling. Probably not enough to justify the higher price and longer size. On the other hand, the double battery might result in a longer run time in an emergency.
