The Talix X8 is a budget open ear clip on earbud that stands out for comfort, stronger sound than the X6, and surprisingly solid bass for the price. It also works with behind the ear hearing aids, and the battery is reported at about 3 hours of continuous use, which makes swapping pairs during the day practical. The main caveat is that the mic setup is limited, with no four mic ENC array, and power controls can be awkward because turning them on or off may require the charging box. A capable low cost clip on option if you want open ear listening.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, it can work with BTE hearing aids and still provide decent bass. One user specifically bought it to use alongside hearing aids and later confirmed it worked.
The code 9XI6E1FT still works for the white and pink versions, but Amazon may take a couple of tries before accepting it. The deal has been successfully checked out at about $19.
Battery life is about 3 hours with continuous use. That makes it practical to swap to a second pair during the day if you need longer listening time.
The X8 is reported to have better sound and comfort than the X6, with stronger bass and improved charging/charge length. At around $20, it is considered worth the small price increase over the X6.
