Anyone know how bad the sound leakage is? Would love to use these for work but dont want to be the annoying person that has sound leaking. Heard you could change the setting to bone conducting only. Seems like the lowest its been

I use these everyday for work and on the bus commute. I have a coworker that's about 10 ft away, no cubicle wall between. I've taken calls and listened to music at full volume. Haven't had anyone complain. I had both the Openrun Pro, and now the Pro 2 model.
That said, the original Openrun Pro model definitely leaked less sound than the Pro 2. I could tell when I had them side by side. The Pro 2 has little speakers on the bottom of the front nubs. As intended it does sound better at the cost of a little sound leakage. They're not as quiet as say a good pair of closed-back headphones, which seal around your ear. But it's definitely quieter than even my semi-closed back headphones, where I was 100% sure my coworker could hear my music.
I just double-checked and on the Pro 2 they still offer the Bone-Conduction only mode called (Classic), which goes back to not using the little speakers. But I don't think you'll end up needing it.
Another tip, I actually buy the "mini" version so the band sits closer to my head. I have coworkers that also wear them and they do look a bit foolish in my opinion with the band about 1 inch away. I wear a 7-3/8 hat if it helps put it into perspective.

Awesome write up, will order the mini now. That was one of my worries with the leakage. I won't listen to it really loud but if its okay volume, would seem extremely rude at work if I couldn't get to pausing it and it keeps playing/they could hear it while in a conversation
Have had these since they released and also have the openswim pro. these are on my head 24/7 when i'm not in my apartment.
The Openswim Pros have held up? Two I purchased came defective out of the box. First would charge and bluetooth would work, but USB connection would error (so no way to transfer music over to it, and bluetooth isn't going to function in the water, making the openswims useless to me). Second one would just light up the red LED like it's charging, but would never charge, and wouldn't power on. I haven't tried a third time.
My OpenRun Pro 2 works great though.

I've only been using them for about 2 months and they're on pause currently since our pool closed for winter. no issues in a saltwater pool, but got them open-box via best buy since I have totaltech which will cover them up to two years.

100% agree about mini vs. regular. But it's possible to get Shokz cheaper. Onwed openrun mini, two openrun pro minis (lost 1st pair), and openrun regular size. The regular size does not fit me well, period. My original openrun that I bought new from Shokz on BF sale after 3 years developed rattling noise on both sides and I am using it at home gym where it does not bother me as much. The other ones I got on eBay, two at VIP outlet (one refurbished and one open box), including $16 for regular openrun.
