It isn't uncommon for a dev to drop a sale just before a huge update and you can easily get 200 hours of gameplay on this one. They've also road mapped 10 years of updates because that's how you build and grow a new IP... they're also in talks for a TV series so it makes sense for Embark to pour some of the cash they made (over half a billion in gross sales) into the game.

no, it isn't an official campaign but the mission storyline now has a dedicated PVE toggle so it's a long-term campaign pending the on-going updates... it's actually a great way to keep a game going on without the need for DLCs or sequels.

Like others have said, I put in over 200hrs. I didnt really like extraction games but I got sucked in. I then stopped a few weeks ago but with the new update coming soon, I'll probably be back because the new stuff looks awesome

Cheating ultimately drove me away, but this game was pretty bad to begin with. It's basically a walking/trash collecting simulator where you play the exact same levels over and over again. The only thing that changes are rare spawn drops. Even arc spawn in the same places. If you need a certain part, you better hope you spawn close to where it spawns, if it spawns at all. Otherwise you basically have to reroll the map and hope it spawns. It's immensely grindy. Then there's the fact that when you get the part and can actually build the gear out of the abysmal inventory management system, when you deploy with the gear to destroy arc to get your next parts, a55holes and hackers will come out of the woodwork to shoot you in the back to steal your gear. This is one of those examples of ai and bots (many here commenting very similar responses using the same terminology and wording to defend the game) massively overhyping hyping a game that should have realistically been like a 6 out of 10.

8 months ago I would've recommended this, however now I would hold off. While the game is good, the population is declining and there are far too many cheaters in the PC version.

Horrible devs. They working on two new games and just milking this one for all it's worth. I will never give a penny to these devs/studio after they used and abused the player base like this did for the crowdfunding of two newer games.

This game only has skeleton crew left. Mostly for cash store.

Just an FYI also the devs anticheat was from a fishing game. Basically they have no anti-cheat.
