This would be my favorite controller if the QC at Microsoft for these wasn't run by a half dead chinchilla. I've gone 3 for 3 of these with all having failing buttons, some right out of the box.

If you get a working one, this is a great price. But that's a big IF. You can get the missing back paddles for like $10-20 on amazon.

Crazy you think that is a lot. These used to be about $200 after tax. One of the rare items that that has gone down with this crazy inflation.

What is crazy is how they are still dog shit quality. With how expensive consoles are now, this is just a drop in the bucket to make your gaming experience much much better. Your fingers would thank you.

If you're getting this, you need to go through Best Buy. Turn it in right before the 2 year warranty is up, get a new one, and renew the warranty. You're lucky if you don't get stick drift or a stuck bumper after the year mark

Thanks! Had my elite 2 for roughly 5 years of heavy gaming and the rubber grip is starting to delaminate. The fix is a replacement hardshell for the back/handles and it's a 30-60 min job. Zero issues (minus the delamination) over my time owning it but know of others that have. I'm taking my chances.

Correct, this is the "core" version. Paddles need to be purchased separately. Dumb... I know

Great controller if it was reliable. Both of mine developed stick drift, bumpers stopped working, and I am gentle with the controllers. Switched to a Gamesir G7 Pro ZZZ and haven't looked back.

It's the only controller with 4 paddles on the back that I've found which I personally can't live without. I have to remap the joystick buttons to keep my thumbs from killing me. Having two extra buttons is great for my needs.
