I loved this book. Geralt is such a great character. Just a heads up though this is a collection of short stories that kind of just skips around in time and it can be a bit confusing where (or when) you are at.

Never read these or watched the show. What would be the correct order to read them in then?

It's not that weird from a business standpoint. Get some people hooked on the series with cheap 1st book and then they buy more at full price.

I didn't realize that the show was based off a book. Something to add to my reading list.

Books are really good. The first one is a collection of short stories, but the subsequent books all tie together and once you get used to the writing style, are incredibly enjoyable.

Out of boredom, I decided to read these and was pleasantly surprised. I was bummed when I ran out of pages to turn.
