I got this on a deal two years ago for $115. Those prices won't come back for this and I'd say this is certainly worth $125 (but not $199).

I have this and the handheld WORX vacuum mulcher and I like the handheld better. I have a large property and the handheld is easier to tote around.

What's more cost efficient though? I feel like bagging leaves as is saves money vs investing $125 right off the bat?

Depending on how thick your leaves are, you can get 5-10x more leaves packed into one bag. If you have thick leaves like Magnolias, it's not as effective. The string line needs to be replaced somewhat frequently. I only used it for a few weeks last year, but need to start using it again. It took me a few tries to set it up so it was stable. It works better on a hard level surface compared to grass or dirt. I got a large plastic bin to put it on top of that I hope will make it even easier. I like it better than the leaf vac because I have thick leaves and lots of little twigs that clog it up. But this still struggles with those. And I have to do more prep work to filter those out for best results. I would really only recommend it if you have thinner leaves and a lot of them.

I've got a mix of both and ended up paying a guy $250 to clear my entire 1/2 acre of lawn and driveway when 99% of the leaves already fell. Money well spent honestly lol

This is the other WORX unit that I prefer. It will chop up anything with the steel blades. And it is a blower. https://www.amazon.com/WORX-WG509-Electric-Multi-Stage-Mulching/dp/B00MN4YCKK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2... [amazon.com]

100%. I haven't raked in decades. Just mow over it on my riding mower with mulcher blades. What leaves?

I really found this to not be useful. It's loud (especially for an electrical tool) it's hard to get non branded bags for it, and it's not very effective. Honestly, I've had better luck just raking my leaves on to the driveway and mulching them with my lawnmower + bag.

Has anyone tried this one vs the one at costco? Believe it is the "Yard Force" brand? I ask since then it's costco with their return policy.

I've had this for a few years now and hate using it. If you have any twigs in your leaf pile, it'll wear your string down in no time. I have to re-string it multiple times every use. Wish it used blades or metal wire instead

I read somewhere a guy just puts the leaves in a trash can and blends them with his weed walker.
