"old man yells for quality," but I don't know what to buy to get basic reliability, but it sure doesn't look like this one.
I don't use the 100W. I only use it on my tablet which charges up to 45W, and my iPhone which goes up to 30w. I haven't felt confident to use with my laptop yet. I'm very happy with it.
I think people who have issues are using it to the max (100W) and maybe they should get higher watt power blocks (which are bigger and better for heat).
