False. Many dupes outperform their more expensive counterparts. Where the dupes fall short in most cases is the scent, as many times you can smell the difference in the quality of ingredients.

Honestly after using dupes I prefer the price and the worthness of the dupes just buy dupes because you be buying lot more them few 😂😂😂

I have tried plenty of dupes are no matter what these influencers say it is never exactly the same. They aren't bad but there are definitely differences. Layton and Percival from PDM are amazing and worth the cost IMO.

I had Al haramin Detour, it was very good, very close, lasted a long time, and affordable but this was awhile ago, im sure there are newer better dupes.

Not dupes but scents with similar DNA include Lalique Black in White and Star by Moubassin. I have Star and it's really good. Moubassin isn't a clone house nor is Lalique. Star and Black in White just remind people of Layton. Star goes for about $25 but is out of stock frequently, if you find it get it. White in Black is easier to find, it's $26 or so on The Perfume Spot. I think they have free shipping at $59. So if you like how Layton smells, you will probably like Star and WiB.

Jomashop and other discounters are usually pretty close in price, but this one is $360 on Joma and only $219 on Venba. I've bought from Venba before, so I know they're legit—I'm just curious how there can be such a huge price difference.

For comparison, Absolu Aventus is $460 on both Joma and Ediscountperfumes, and $480 on Venba, so their prices are usually pretty close.

Layton is $219 on a couple of other sites as well. Aura has Exclusive (which I don't know what the difference is) for $219 in fact. PDM makes really nice fragrances, they have a few that smell incredible, but their price points push me away (I find something like Continuum to be as enjoyable to wear and it goes for $35 so I can't justify the extra $ for PDM, but I can understand how some people will buy their scents as they are really good, IMO).

I often see the people complaining about dupes show off their "designer collection" on a cheap particle board shelf from Walmart in what I'm guessing is a cheap apartment bedroom. Here's a spoiler: designer fragrances use synthetics too.
