Made of mostly plastic. I am going to grab the kohler one from costco for $35.

This shower combo is being treated as a low cost upgrade for a nicer shower feel, with the installed unit described as very comfortable and enjoyable to use. The deal code appears to work on matte black and some nickel finishes, while chrome is out of stock or tied to a different seller. The main concerns are that it is mostly plastic, the listing may be more of a handheld wand than a true rainfall head, and the promo behavior is inconsistent across browsers and devices. There are also durability worries about clogging over time and the chance of higher water use if showers run longer.

  • Shoppers who want a softer-feeling shower and do not mind a mostly plastic build, because it feels very nice in use even though the construction is plastic.

    aj000000IlovedealsWolfpackBAC

  • People replacing a basic shower head with a handheld-style setup, because the spray can make showers feel more comfortable and enjoyable.

    aj000000michi098

  • Buyers who are willing to use the matte black finish, because the code works on that option when other finishes do not.

    frozenthorndealcracker

  • People who want a durable all-metal fixture, because the body is mostly plastic and can break more easily.

    IlovedealsIlovedealsWolfpackBAC

  • Shoppers expecting a true rainfall shower head, because this is actually a mounted handheld wand.

    KevoDIlovedeals

  • Buyers who need the finish to be flexible, because the code may work on matte black but not on brushed aluminum or nickel.

    frozenthorndealcracker

  • Households trying to keep water use down, because the shower can make people stay in longer and raise the water bill.

It's not a rainfall head. Just a mounted handheld wand. Completely different product

yea just handheld wand. the kohler hydrorail would be more comparable to this one but double the price at $80 and hard to find at that clearance price but I think it is worth it to pay double compared to these plastic ones that break more easily

Chrome is out of stock. I can get the code to work on black, but not on brushed aluminum.

One thing to watch out for with these Chinese rain showerheads is the tiny water pinholes. I had a similar one, and after about a year, they clogged up, completely ruining the rain effect. Even soaking it in vinegar didn't help

Just a warning. I got one of these cheap deals about a year ago. Family liked it so much that my water bill basically doubled. Thankfully it broke after a few months and I acted dumb and replaced it with a basic shower head again. Yes, they're wonderful to shower with, but if everyone stays in the shower twice as long, it will negate your Slickdeals savings quickly.

The water pressure in mine is much lower than in the one it replaced. Is there a restrictor I can remove at the neck?
