The product photos mentioning water soluble paint (for something that goes in your mouth) is not reassuring.
These should be glazed, not painted, anyway.

Funny, real story, happened few years back to me: I'm out walking in my neighborhood (that's near a high school). A car passes me, and this loud scream, really loud and disorienting scream comes, and the car proceeds to hit the curb and slam into a wall. 2 teens, faces bloodied get out of the wrecked car, I call 911, cops and ambulance arrive. Help provided. The cops later tell me the passenger used an Aztec whistle to scare me but the noise was so loud inside the car that the driver lost control.
