These got popular a while after I had already bought and been using a muscle rack. Anyone have experience with one of these specific models? Does it shake the cart around like crazy or make a lot of noise (other than just the printer). I had to bolt my muscle rack to the wall because it was vibrating so much. Having something on wheels like this is a really appealing idea...

I have a P2S and build my own shelving out of 1/2" threaded rod. It's very stout and still shakes quite a bit. This Vevor stand is only 14 lbs so it's going to shake like crazy with a high-speed printer. With an old bed slinger maybe it would be ok.

Some folks are going to have opinions about leaving their spools out bare like the product demo photos 😅

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I snagged this to use NEXT to my printer just for a workspace and storing more filament below. I would not recommend using this to print on due to shaking. Thanks!

It is going to shake like hell. Store your spools, tools, and use it as a space to paint/trim on, but don't set a printer on it.

I have a CoreXY sitting on the end of a solid wood executive desk because it would still shake an 18x24 solid wood filing cabinet (mostly empty).

If you have a fast printer, you want a heavy and stable base that is at least 6" larger than the printer in any dimension to basically eliminate the vibration.

As others have said, not good for printer storage itself but maybe for support. Instead of putting a printer on the shelf you could use it for all your dryers and airtight storage with the open often used pla spools below.

I have this and put my P1S on it. It shakes a little bit but I have noticed any effects on my prints. You could easily add a cross brace on the back and almost eliminate the shaking. I have been using it for about a year.

Anyone have a nifty sealable bag they use to store filament in? Do you really have to vacuum back them? Thanks in advance.

EVERY picture that shows it's weight capacity has a DIFFERENT number. The shelves are listed as 100 and 110 lb capacity and can hold 60 rolls which exceeds both limits.

Nice thanks! I'm gonna give it a try. 3X dollars is cheap enough I will find another use for it if it doesn't work out for me.

Just use plastic cereal box's from Amazon with some desiccant in the bottom. Bags were a nightmare they were constantly coming unsealed for one reason or another.
