For 1-2 dollars a spool more I would not risk it on unknown filament brands. Kingroon is supposedly made by Sunlu and I never had issues with it. Not the best but solid and can get for 6-7 bucks a roll. Just my .02. Take it for what it is worth. But it is NO fun working for hours on a clogged nozzel. Or having failed print jobs.

I have never unclogged a nozzle. This affirms my choice to just toss it and buy a new one for a couple of bucks. 😂

Bed/layer adhesion issues and awful stringing are other issues that can be worse with off brands.

I picked up some Nexaforge silk PLA on a recent SD and haven't had any issues. So far it seems like solid stuff, especially for the price.

I also picked up a 5 pack of this brand on a previous deal and the filament is excellent. Probably the best off brand stuff I've tried. Great bed adhesion (almost too good!) and no print fails yet or clogged nozzles. The Sunlu filament I got last time got brittle and would break inside and outside of the feeder tube. Will never buy that kind again due to it wrapping around the extruder gears in a very nasty way that took hours to fix. Another brand caused endless nozzle clogs. This is a good one for those worried about those issues.
