Not saying it couldn't happen, but if defective, you'd get a new tire (prorated based on mileage)

They are very good in all conditions when new but the tread wear is absolutely terrible. Would not buy another set again.

can't speak from personal experience, but the reviews at the link are solid, it's a 50K mile tire which is decent for this price point. Usually range from 40K-70K depending on the tire, cost, etc.
