This Jersey Mike's BOGO is a targeted app offer that can be a solid sandwich deal when it works. The code loads to an account and does work in some locations, and it also ties into the NFL Predictor Game points. The main catch is regional and franchise eligibility, with repeated reports of the offer showing as invalid at specific stores or entire metro areas. Separate food feedback also points to uneven meat portions and a cheese that has an off smell, making it a useful promo if your local shop accepts it.
App users whose local store accepts the offer, because the code can load and work in the app for a true buy-one-get-one sandwich deal.
Yes. It appears to be a targeted, franchise-based promo rather than a universal one, with reports of it working in some apps and failing in places like PA, NoVA, NE Ohio, Austin, Birmingham, and Denver. Location matters more than the code itself.
No. The offer can be added to an account or app and still fail at checkout with "not valid at this restaurant" or "promo is invalid for this store." It appears to depend on whether the local franchise opted in, so availability can vary by store and region.
Yes. The code can be loaded into the app or account first, but some stores still reject it when you try to use it. That makes it useful to keep saved in case you travel to a participating location later.
No. The points tied to this promotion are for the NFL Predictor Game and function as game participation points, not redeemable rewards points like a previous offer.
There's been people complaining on reddit that they have been putting less meat on their sandwiches now. Apparently a private equity firm bought them out. I haven't noticed anything different at my local store though.

I've been mystery shopping them for 3+ years and photographing cross-sections of subs. In my experience, meat portion size varies depending on the store and associate who makes the sub, but I haven't noticed any definite trends. Then again, all the JM's in my area have always been stingy with portions.
But, unless you get some at the end, you don't get points
From what I read, these are just points for the game, not points that are like rewards points. So the points only act as you playing, not redeemable like last time.

Shoppers in areas where the franchise opted in, because the offer can be added to an account and then redeemed at participating stores.
People who want a sandwich deal tied to a game promotion, because the points function as game participation rather than redeemable rewards.
People whose nearest store is outside the participating area, because the offer can show as invalid at checkout even after being added to an account.
Shoppers expecting the same sandwich build every time, because meat portions can vary by store and the cheese has a strong off-putting smell.
People relying on the promotion for redeemable loyalty value, because the points only act as game participation and are not rewards points.
