Things should be looking good for this year's Black Friday with this precursor?

2023 TV, only HDMI3 is full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 for 4k 120Hz, HDMI1 is eARC and 2/4 are standard 4k, next biggest flaw is poor contrast and local dimming (most noticeable in a dark room). Smart interface is unsurprisingly garbage from Vizio aka WalMart's advertising venture. Picture is bright and colors good with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, low input lag, and if you're using it for text as a commercial display or gigantic PC monitor it does do 4:4:4 chroma.

Edit: This was $500 from Sam's Club in January.

Oh it's a fantastic deal and (EDIT I'm an idiot) That's why I'm pointing out the few issues that might cause pause, because it's a tempting deal and rightfully so.

I have this TV. It has some really quirky audio issues with ARC/eARC that even Vizio support couldn't resolve. Basically it was working flawlessly with my older Yamaha receiver before I made the mistake of updating the firmware. That forced the TV into an always on eARC audio format. I can't remember how I finally resolved it, but it's not corrected in the obvious area or with anything that obviously says you're switching eARC on over ARC. Only bringing this up so that anyone with an older receiver knows to just leave all the smart functionality off of this TV and use an external streaming device.

Price wise this is an incredible value. The picture quality is excellent, especially in this range, and input latency is incredibly low and the VRR works perfectly with no noticeable hiccups I've encountered.

FALD works well, and is generally quick enough for scene transitions so you don't run into a ton of light blooming. You will notice the light zones on this if you have a static black image with a white spinning circle while something is loading. The zone count isn't terribly high (I want to say like 250 maybe?) so keep that in mind, but really for this price and the features you're getting on what would have been their flagship TV in 2023 you really can't do much better. Maybe if you could find a TCL 6 Series from that year you'd do better but I doubt any of those are still around.

I got mine through VIP Outlet (which I think is Wal-Mart open box returns and refurbs) as an open box but it had never been opened or used. I believe I ended up getting a discount from VIP Outlet for like 20% for the audio issues I had prior to "fixing" it, and I think I paid $425 total after that. I definitely think it was well worth that price.

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer what I can.

I bought the other 75" Vizio for $428. While it's a good tv it's very glitchy and reboots often because the software is buggy. This is definitely a good deal though.
