Switch 1, not 2. Also I am confused as to where this stock came from? A couple years back (a year after first release) I looked EVERYWHERE for one but they were all sold out and gone. Is this a re-release and why would they do that for switch 1

Were you only looking in the US? IDK where you're located, but this is the international version of it and maybe they had more than here in the US.

My understanding is that there are a lot of counterfeit Pro controllers on eBay. I wonder what the odds are of these not being genuine.

What's crazy is the thing you were obsessed over getting several years ago is probably something you don't even want now, because the new hotness OoT Switch 2 version is coming. Makes you wonder if we really need all of this stuff

Nintendo has been doing this with the Zelda franchise since day one. The gold cartridge/controller/console, the limited edition collectibles that sell out in seconds. Works every time.

Haha well good call on that, but at the time I didn't have a pro controller at all, so when I decided to get one I looked for Zelda. Then discovering I was way too late to the party. And then I got a regular pro controller instead which I still have to this day. But it was such a disappointment back then that this deal twigged my "what the heck" antenna

Edit: that being said, I do have a switch 2 now but the switch 1 pro controller won't wake it up so yeah I'll probably get suckered into buying a switch 2 one. Maybe Zelda this time lol.

Uhhhhhh I bought one of these on walmart last year and it was 100% a fake. Updating firmware stalled out and this is a well known issue - check google/reddit. I would not trust these.
