Costco's Nintendo eGift card promo is a strong way to stretch Nintendo credit for Switch hardware, games, and eShop purchases, with the discount stacking cleanly in several carts and even pairing with Costco email coupons. The cards arrive digitally, each code is separate, and the balance can be used toward consoles or split across multiple purchases. The main friction is checkout, where some orders are canceled or delayed and account verification or support calls may be needed. A practical option if you want Nintendo credit without paying full price.
Order codes can arrive within a few hours after confirmation, so short waits may still end in delivery.
Each Nintendo eGift card comes with its own code, which lets you split a pack for multiple recipients.
Costco.com email offers can stack with the Nintendo eGift card deal, enabling larger combined savings.
Nintendo eShop funds can be used for more than eShop credit, including games and hardware purchases.
Some orders get cancelled during checkout, including attempts using different cards.
Nintendo eShop account balance limits can restrict how much credit you can hold at once.
Digital eShop funds cannot be used to pay at Nintendo's physical stores in New York and San Francisco.
Checkout can fail when billing and shipping name details do not match the credit card name, which can prevent coupon reinstatement.

Gonna keep the Switch 1 to have as an extra Switch (mostly for me lol) and use the virtual game cards feature

If you want those separately from the eshop, it's $500 + $60 + $35 = $695, using the gift cards, you would need 7x $100 gift cards, which is $560 from Costco gift cards.
All prices are before taxes, so you would save $10.
Also, there are bundles with games exclusive to Nintendo that Costco doesn't have, and also Costco has exclusives (right now, there's digital Pokopia bundle at costco for $580).

So you're saving $90 not $10.
