The Costco version of this set (K65A60C, Item #9665060) is $1299.99 thru 10/11 with the Allstate protection plan bundled. Potential for another $50 off purchases over $500 Customer Appreciation codes sent out this morning.

Considering this, but it's been so hard to determine if the Bravia 6 is actually good or not. The lack of XR processor seems to only matter for upscaling content, so if you watch a lot of 4K (or pre-upscaled content, like from an Apple TV) then it's probably not a big deal. But it also seems to use a lower end LG panel, which may not be as good as the similarly positioned LG C6? Real reviews are basically non-existent so far, though RTings websites says they have one and are testing it. As a Sony fan (their OOB calibration has always been really good!) I would love to know how this compares to the previous gen A80K/A90K, etc.

I bought one last week. It died in less than an hour. Waiting on a new one to be shipped to me from Sony... I bought mine from Sam's Club online and got a 5 year warranty that shoukd go onto the new one they are sending me.
