Fox owns Roku now and they've ruined it with garbage ads.
The software updates are getting worse and worse, which is surprising considering how bad they already were before the acquisition.
If you're looking for something comparable, Hisense has a QLED for $100 less. Not that FireTV is much better, but at least you can load Android apps to it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GHZXKT1T

OTA reception has even gotten worse. Channels that used to come in just fine are now gone. And the guide is slow.
Apps freeze more frequently.
Disney + can't seem to remember us and we have to login every 2 weeks.
I loved Roku for years, but no more.
