I have 2 of these 4K HDMI 5 port switches. They work so well that I just bought another one. I paid the same price for this back in March, 2023.

I think i need one that strips out the security for multiple screens on one source…. I looked into it years ago but it was a very expensive piece of equipment then and much larger…

I've wasted hundreds on "auto switchers" for all my game consoles

But I'm willing to gamble another $24 on this one since I've loved all my UGREEN products.

I have this 5 port HDMI switch, and I'm very happy with it. My wife can't remember which input is which, but this is much easier for her than the receiver we were using.

This switch is awesome but heads up if you have GE color changing bulbs the remote operates on the same frequencies and changes the light colors. Edge case but worth mentioning

While not everyone uses those lights, this is good info.

Switches switch and splitters split.

Splitters do not (generally) have buttons or remote controls.

Splitters duplicate: Same signal on all outputs, simultaneously.

Switches direct: Input signal appears on selected output only.

Generally, powered splitters also amplify. Potentially increasing the cable length over which the signal is usable. (HDMI passive splitters are, pretty much, junk.)

Attributing both functions to a single device can be (OK, is) misleading.

Concrete is not "cement" any more than cake is flour.

When one is electrocuted, executed, drowned or strangled, they are dead.

Whatever happened to the word "under"?

When will undertows become underneathtows?

When will bookmakers start posting over-and-underneath numbers?

Or, would that be underneathwhelming?

And, why would anyone ever say, "underneath of it"? Or, use the word "alleyway" when "alley" requires fewer letters and is easier to say?

(Then there's the whole bastardization of the word "gift" which is both nonsensical and ridiculous -- Using a made-up 6-letter, two-syllable word instead of an accepted/legitimate 4-letter, monosyllable word is only part of it.)

Transformers, generally, do not explode. (They have venting devices.)

The phrase "VIN number" is redundant.

OK, logical mode = Off.

I can't get the 3 in version to work; the 5 took the promo code though.

I have a Hisense TV and similar to your experience, a couple of the buttons on the remote trigger functions on the TV. Not a big deal, but notable. I just switch through the inputs using the "next" button on the remote and no problems. That issue aside, device has been perfect.
