Yup...here's the comparison from Amazon:Here's how the Bose TV Speaker (1st Gen) and Bose TV Speaker (2nd Gen) compare — both are compact soundbars at the same $199 price, but the 2nd Gen brings some meaningful upgrades:Feature1st Gen2nd GenImage: https://m.media-amazon.com/images..._.jpgLink: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088KRP...—Image: https://m.media-amazon.com/images..._.jpgLink: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H8D3QLLJ?niid=nl_cl_lst_a_tbl_1_1&ref_=nl_cl_lst_a_tbl_1_1&nrid=3N42JE0GDQ1WG1502VHP——Price$199$199ChannelsStereo (2.0)3.0-ChannelCenter TweeterYes (dialogue-focused)Yes (dedicated center tweeter)Speaker Layout2 angled full-range drivers2 angled drivers + center tweeterDolby AtmosDolby decodingDolby Atmos supportConnectivityBluetooth, HDMI ARC, Optical, AUXBluetooth, HDMI ARC (HDMI cable included)Special FeaturesDialogue Mode, Bass BoostDialogue Mode, Bass BoostDesignBoxy edgesRounded, modern stylingDeliveryTomorrow, Oct 10Sun, Oct 11Key Takeaways:• Wider soundstage: The 2nd Gen's angled left/right drivers plus dedicated center tweeter create a noticeably broader, more spacious sound compared to the 1st Gen• Better bass out of the box: Reviewers who owned both note the 2nd Gen sounds fuller without needing an add-on subwoofer• Dolby Atmos: The 2nd Gen adds Dolby Atmos support for a more immersive feel on compatible content• HDMI cable included: The 2nd Gen includes an HDMI cable (the 1st Gen only included an optical cable)• Reliability: The 1st Gen has some noted reliability concerns in reviews (units cutting out after months of use); the 2nd Gen is newer with fewer long-term reports yet• Deal on 1st Gen: The 1st Gen currently has an active deal — worth checking if you want to saveBottom line: At the same price, the 2nd Gen is the stronger pick for most — better soundstage, improved bass, and Dolby Atmos. The 1st Gen may appeal if you catch it at a deeper discount.
