Lavazza Super Crema is a solid midrange whole bean coffee that shines for espresso and Aeropress drinks, with chocolatey, slightly earthy flavor and low acidity. The price per ounce is called out as strong, especially when the larger 2.2 pound bags are available, and the deal can stack well with Subscribe and Save. The main catch is that this offer is for the 22 ounce bag, not the usual 2.2 pound size, and the coupon or extra discount does not always apply cleanly. A practical pick if you want everyday espresso beans without paying premium prices.
The coffee can make good espresso even when using grocery store bagged beans.
The flavor profile can include pronounced chocolate notes with low acidity for daily brewing.
The beans can perform well in an Aeropress for everyday drinking.
The deal can produce a favorable price per ounce compared with the larger 2.2-lb version.
The deal may be for a 22-oz size that differs from the usual 2.2-lb bag, which can cause confusion.
Subscribe and Save can apply the extra 10% discount only to the first bag when ordering multiple bags.
The taste can change over time and may come across burnt, with other Lavazza variants tasting better.
Coupon application can fail, resulting in no coupon being applied at checkout.
