I own 6+ of these and think they are usually $15, so $12 is decent. I love these little things. Always have one on my keychain, with several others laying around random places for when I need one. Everytime I show someone one of these they are impressed. Not needing a button to turn the light on, it turns on as soon as you pull it off its magentic base. And it's a strong magnet, the light never just randomly falls off the base, you have to pull on it to get it loose. It's tiny so its not very powerful, but its meant for quick small tasks where you need a light for just a moment. It's not meant for camping or workshop lighting.
Plus because that the light itself is magnetic so you can mount it (on metallic things) when you pull it off the base. Love these over those other little lights with a clip that always get so much praise... Never understood the appeal. The idea is you clip it to your clothes, but I don't understand how anyone can get that thing pointed where they want it that way. I prefer these little guys, they live on your keychain or belt loop, you pull it off (no finding a tiny button to activate) and it turns on, then when done you hold it near the magnetic base and it snaps back into place. One handed operation.
This is a tiny magnetic keychain flashlight that shines best for quick, close-up tasks like finding a lock, checking a car hood, or grabbing something from a glovebox. The buttonless pull-off design makes one-handed use easy, and the light is unobtrusive enough to stay on a keyring without being noticed. The main limits are low brightness and short reach, so it is not meant for camping or workshop lighting. The clip can also slip, though the magnet keeps it attached.
Drivers who want a tiny keychain light for finding a lock or checking under a hood, because it gives enough close-up light and is easy to grab one-handed.
It is a very small 50-lumen keychain light, so it is best for quick, close tasks like finding a keyhole, checking a lock, or sticking to a car hood for a brief look. It does not throw light far and is not meant for camping or workshop lighting.
This model is commonly described as selling around $15, so $12 is considered a decent price. It has also been seen at $14.65 shipped from Olight's site with a free i3E flashlight, and the newer USB-C 80-lumen version is about $24 on sale.
It is commonly used on keychains, in gloveboxes and drawers, and for quick nighttime tasks like finding a lock or checking car oil under the hood. It is handy enough that many people keep one on every set of car keys and use it as a small gift.
The magnetic base is strong and the light snaps back into place, so it usually stays put on keys and can even be mounted on metal surfaces. The clip can slip on some setups, though, and some users replace it with a better clip.
Yes. Pulling it off the magnetic base turns it on immediately, which makes it easier than fumbling with a phone flashlight or a tiny switch when you need light fast.

I have previously bought this through Amazon. overall not that functional but it is nice to have on your keychain when you need a little bit of light, that doesn't penetrate into the dark very far. I'll also mention that the clip that holds the light does have a tendency to allow the light to slip off. luckily being magnetized it is stuck to my keys in my pocket anyway, but it's not meant to be overly sturdy in my opinion.
I don't know the specific product, but I have something similar. Very little light but it's enough to make it much easier to get your key in the lock in the darkness. It's not meant for anything more than very close up.
I bought the 2 pack during the last amazon sale. good little light to have on the keychain. Easier to use than fumbling with my cell phone to turn on the flash.
It was this price in January this year. I've used my orange one soooo many times. Always with me, and just used it the other night to stick to the underside of the hood in my car to check the oil level at night. Probably use it 3 times a week. Bought a bunch for stocking stuffers last year, and if I don't have an extra, I'll order one today just in case.

I think I have 8 now and have gifted at least 10. Favorite little handy light.
This would be cool if it had a higher lumen rate. Especially since I have a hard time carrying things with my disability. I could hook it to my phone keychain that my dad jimmied up for me.

I have one of these but hardly use it. My daily is a Perun 2 mini since it has the versatile I need. Red light for better night vision, small and lightweight, headband light, 90° head to clip into shirt or waistband, etc.

Drivers who want a tiny keychain light for finding a lock or checking under a hood, because it gives enough close-up light and is easy to grab one-handed.
Gift buyers looking for a small everyday carry add-on, because it is unobtrusive on a keyring and gets used as a handy stocking stuffer.
People who prefer a magnetic pocket light over a clip-on flashlight, because it snaps back to its base and stays put without a button.
Users who want higher output from this model, because the 50-lumen version is described as too dim and a brighter USB-C version costs more.
People who want a bright beam that reaches far, because the light stays very close-range and does not penetrate into the dark very far.
Campers or workshop users who need broad illumination, because this light is tiny and not meant for those larger tasks.
Shoppers who need a sturdier clip carry, because the clip can let the light slip off.
