Someone with no ability to calculate wattage when given volts and amps say something about how the waveform crams their style please. Thanks.

I have a few of these and the batteries all died. Any recommendations on where to buy batteries or is it even worth it?

You can use lithium batteries that will last a lot longer, but the charging profile won't be correct so you wouldn't get full capacity out of them.
I did this on one of my systems and it's been fine for about 8-10months

Or you can opt for a goldenmate lithium UPS. I have one of the pro models and have had one short outage and it worked fine but it doesn't output munch info to my Linux server regarding consumption/voltages...

I got tired of replacing my batteries every couple of years and the short Op time due to the smaller capacity so I went with one of those lifepo4 power banks. I have a bluetti elite that can run for hours vs 10 minutes and it only cost about 2x more. The power bank is also pure sine wave and can take solar panel inputs. Easier to integrate with my home assistant too.

If you are talking about replacement batteries for a ups that are lithium, it would depend on the model. Just find a lead acid replacement and make sure the new ones are the same dimensions and terminal location.

For the goldenmate, this is the one i have

There are less expensive options if you dont need it to send a power down signal to a computer/server

a great option. Just make sure it has fast enough switching to be used as a UPS.
I tried going down this route with an ecoflow delta 2 and switching was too slow (its not advertised to be used as a UPS, so its not its fault). It seems like most new power banks have the ability to be a UPS now, but just something to double check. (10ms or less switching speed)

I usually get replacement batteries at Ace Hardware. Usually, I combine it coupon or whatever offer they have going at the time.

If they are selling it this cheap the ups has been sitting on the shelf at bout $200 with no buyers and the batteries are dead and will not have full capacity.. so treat this price as refurbished and you will have about half the battery capacity which you MAY get them to replace under warranty if you can prove the capacity is low enough. This is a sign consumers are pulling back and some consumables like batteries will have to be replaced early or disposed of as they are a consumable and do not have long shelf life without being serviced. If you have <30 minutes capacity at about 100watts when you should have 50 min to an 80 mins, I'd demand the MFG replace the batteries if they are sold as NEW.

I bought replacement lead acid battery from Amazon lol. It was $46 for 2 pack 9aH, about half the price of OEM battery.
