USED to be a hisense person. Own 1 65" flagship, 2 x 55" models (both were 1 level down from their flagship line).
Never had any issues. They had great picture's and no quirks that I found.
Bought their PX3 pro $3k+ UST projector. Had trouble setting it up (like HUNDREDS of others; as for the sheer volume of different threads and posts and comments on tons of different sites. Their customer support is the absolute WORST! They're not helpful and you cannot talk to anyone intelligent. The most the average support tech can do is to have you unplug and plug back in your projector. If you need actual technical support, they have an 'engineer' call YOU. But wait, it gets better. They say they'll call you back within 24 hours. What they don't tell you is that you have to be in front of your device when they call. What they also don't tell you is that they really will NOT call you back within 24 hours. After 5 'call backs', only ONE was within 24 hours. The other 4 were typically several days later. I missed every one of them because who waits by their device with phone in hand for days? I certainly do not. The 2nd call I received I had missed by about a minute. No problem, I would just call their tech support back, let them know I literally just missed their call-back, get right in, right? NOPE! EVERY TIME you call they (basic support) FORCE you to go through all of the trouble shooting hoops... even if you have a case number, even if you just talked to someone earlier that day. This particular time, they still made me go through the hoops and then they said they could not transfer me and gave me the BS line, "We'll have a support engineer call you back within 24 hours."
Absolute NIGHTMARE and I recommend NOT buying anything hisense... but hey, you do you and enter the frustration and anger at spending so much money on something you cannot use as the poor manufacturer intended.
PS - I bought through Best Buy.com and after weeks of getting nowhere with hisense, I went into a store, told them my frustration and they said they had a 'guy who is a wiz' with those. I had to pay their $130 (or whatever it was) fee, but at this point, if he could get it going, SOLD!!! The next week the guy came out, had 2 helpers with them, and a 4th showed about 20 minutes later. They were all very nice but after almost 4 hours, they threw in the towel. They could not get the projector lined up with the screen. I went back into best buy and they happily refunded my fee for that. I asked about refunding the price for the projector since i had so much trouble and the manager looked at everything and I actually believe he would have had so much time not passed since I bought it and actually got to that point. I ended up having to initiate a charge back with the issuing bank. I felt bad because that takes money out of best buy (I mentioned that was my only option to the manager and he said to not worry about it; "best buy makes plenty of money". My 1 star review is still there on BB's website. Surprisingly, there are excellent reviews from verified purchasers... maybe mine was a dud? I'll never know because hisense is an absolute FAILURE of a company with awful human support that are just flat out trash.
