After Netflix PTSD, is the ending theme song "fly me to the moon" included?

NVM. I just read the fine print, it says:
Please Note: The international re-release of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION does not contain "FLY ME TO THE MOON."

It's licensing. Netflix didn't want to pay licensing even though they made $45 billion in 2025. ADV Films versions of this anime will always be better than anything Netflix does.

No, it's never not going to be weird, but it is in the top 5 of all time if you can get into it. You're talking about a series championed by a guy with Clinical Depression, who dives deep into Old Testament Christianity in a story that ends with the destruction of humanity....and tries to blend it with all the usual Anime tropes of the day....mechs, insufferable/insecure boys, cold parents, overbearing/unsympathetic females, fat comedic relief....wait no I don't think this one has the fat funny guy. So close. Amazing story, beautiful animation, cool premise but.....it's about the end of humanity so, no happy endings here.
