How do these compare to costco set for someone just getting into it?

Costco set is significantly better and the putter in the Costco set alone is usually $250-300. But no bag. Clubs will last longer and if you are improving quickly the Costco set will suit you better. It is worth the price difference if you plan to play more than 2-3 times a year.
