Is it worth it to pay extra $150 and get the AT-LP120XUSB-BK? I know nothing about turntables.

It's better to buy used turn tableThis one in the deal, you can't adjust tracking force. Not recommended

I had this player for a few years before I upgraded to a fluance rt83 and honestly the sound quality is pretty good. IMO it's a great entry level turntable

AT-LP120XUSB-BK is direct drive which is better. Do you have LPs?

This is fine for anyone that's going to be buying $12-20 modern pressings and reprints. Modern pressings are super flat and very stable, and generally no one is going to be upset if you wear them out.

If you're looking to actually play valuable/irreplaceable records, do some research.

This turntable is prone to skip if there is any damage to the record. The AT-LP120xUSB mentioned above will track better and likely play the same record without skipping.

If you are serious about collecting and have the money, get LP120.
