Cant decide if good deal. I have so many damn EGO tools and no batteries - 10yr old batteries are dying. I snagged a battery and free chainsaw - need at least 2 more batteries - thinking this maybe way to go but a battery operated pressure washer seems dumb. I'm starting to feel battery powered heavier tools are a dumb idea. but Ive gotten dumber.

My 3 year old batteries are dying. Hesitant to buy anything ego because of that.

What's the usage - mine were going after about 8 years but I also had a steady rotation of about 6 batteries. My lawn mower ate most of mine. I did end up grabbing this deal since 2 6mah batteries was roughly same cost. I also grabbed the lowes chainsaw deal. I'll dump my old 18" chainsaw for whatever I can get. Im not sure about the recyclability or refurb options around old batteries, but I'd imagine if there was some feasibility in it, there may be a business opportunity or something. I guess we dont think about gas as needing to be sustainable or whatever since it just comes from the ground and burns up, where with batteries you are left with an empty husk of chemicals.
