If you're really using hdmi with or without the DP port, you're not pushing over 144hz for the hdmi 2.1 to matter over hdmi 2.0 unless you really need the other benefits of the bandwidth regardless of fps...

Yes, if your only using it for pc , Having HDMI 2.1 for current gen consoles helps . Full 4k 120hz VRR if it's supported by the game . I agree though for 20$ more 240hz is the way to go. Just a bummer doesn't include hdmi 2.1
