This 7-Eleven fuel promo is a short-term gas discount that works through the app for 7Rewards members and can stack with other rewards. The discount is activated by texting AGAIN to 711711, then checking the Fuel tab or the first app screen on the promo days, October 7 and October 11. The app also shows local prices, price lock options, and in some cases extra savings from cards or rewards programs. Main caveats are that it only applies once per day, some locations do not participate, and the discount may not appear or apply correctly at checkout.
The 7-Eleven app can show eligible fuel savings by using the Fuel tab and selecting a specific location.
The app's Price Lock feature can lock a lower local fuel price for four days and includes an unlock and re-price-lock option.
The 50 cents-per-gallon promo can be combined with other 7-Eleven app discounts for a lower net per-gallon cost.
Citi Thank You offers can be activated from mailed offers, including an 8% back option that can stack with the promo for net savings.
Home Depot Pro extra rewards can add an additional 25 cents off per gallon using a unique in-app code.
The 50 cents-per-gallon discount may not appear immediately after texting "again" and instead shows only on the two promo days.
Price Lock savings calculations can vary by station, and locking farther away can change the app's discount amount at a local pump.
The 50 cents-per-gallon promo may fail to apply at checkout even after signing up through the text link and using a Speedway card.
Some nearby 7-Eleven locations may show a points offer instead of gas savings, which can prevent the expected discount.

My local 7-Eleven is $4.25 a gallon right now. If the price doesn't drop at all, tomorrow I'll be paying $3.75 per gallon + 8% back = $3.45 net per gallon.
