This ETENWOLF flat tire repair kit is a low-cost roadside plug set aimed at quick puncture fixes. The comments highlight that similar kits can get a car home, and some long-term use cases report plugs lasting for years when installed correctly. The kit is also described as sturdier than some cord-style alternatives, though the included plastic tool draws skepticism and heavy-duty or drill-bit style tools are preferred. The promo code is inconsistent, with some checkout attempts failing and others reaching $3.90.

  • Drivers needing a roadside plug-and-go fix, because these kits can get a punctured tire sealed enough to drive home without changing the wheel.

  • DIY tire repairers who want a simple plug tool, because the repair process can be quick and effective when used correctly.

  • Shoppers comparing compact emergency kits, because this style can be a lifesaver in a pinch and avoids messing with a jack on the roadside.

  • Drivers wanting a permanent, professional-grade repair, because plug-in kits can fail quickly or make the leak bigger.

  • People who need a heavy-duty insertion tool, because the push-in tool can bend or snap on low-quality kits.

  • Owners of normal passenger tires who expect the included plastic plug tool to feel robust, because it may only suit lawn tractors or golf carts.

I bought these yesterday without the code. It was supposed to arrive between 11am-2pm in a locker. What should I do?

I put in a request to cancel then bought it again with a code. I just realized now that I could have just not picked it up.

Any suggestions?
let it go.

Harbor F also sells this on sale for about $4 they provide less plugs. I haven't bent the handle yet so its sturdy enough on the HF. They also come with Glue that this one does not.

Also the patches here are these like inside the car tire type patches? (I'm not talking plugs)

When is the rubber cement needed? Is using it better than not using it?

I don't think you're using yours correctly. My patches always last the life of the tire and have never popped out. Ive been doing this for decades on all my and my family and friend's cars.
Same, I got 40k miles out of a similar plug. I still prefer the plug/patch from behind method but in a pinch these things are a lifesaver. Beats messing with a jack on the side of the road, just plug and get home.

Could you recommend a one>
I wasn't going to recommend one since I didn't want to promote any brand but since I got downvoted 109 times for telling people the truth about how worthless classic tire patching kits are - I will recommend some.

Plug type - note that they place a cap on the interior side of the hole:
https://www.amazon.com/GRAND-PITS...=8-51&th=1

Screw type - note that they have multiple sizes and real adhesive:
https://www.amazon.com/Tire-Screw...95&sr=8-10

Did you know that kits OP's don't even have any adhesive? They just rely on stickiness that stay in place year after year. (Hint - they don't stay in place even one year). Worse of all, they make small holes bigger in order to fit the snot stick through.

Protip: osi quad caulk is the strongest elastic adhesive. Rubber cement and contact cement are useless. Don't use silicone.

Beats waiting a few hours at America's Tires too.

Do yourself a favor and never use tire repair products like this. They suck and either make the leak bigger or don't last long. There are more advanced tire patchers that are more effective than this product and they are well worth the price.
user error, i have been using cheap ones for over 20 years with no issues

Same here. Been using the cheap ones for 30 years and never had one pop out on me. Also, the hole doesn't get bigger to the point that you can insert a 3/8 drill bit easily. Those criticizing the "cheap ones" either doing it wrong or don't know how to use it right.

You never took it to get repaired correctly?

What state are you in, so I know which sections of highway to avoid?
