Hard for me to justify this price when the old oscillating tools are damn fine and can be had for under $100 as a kit any day of the week.
It depends. If you are younger person.. say in your 20s, you may recover quickly from hand fatigue. However, by late 30s and well into the 40s..Folks like myself have to start seeing a doctor or two to look at carpal tunnel / wrist / hand fatigue issues. Every doctors visit is to a specialist.. cortizone shots later and the bill could have been avoided with better tools. Mind you a docs visit/ treatments may cost more than the tool. Not to mention every subsequent time one would go and/or miss work to do so.
Better tools for better efficiency, better results, and for less stress on body should always be looked at through that lens. Not just one could from instant savings.
Just to note, I had bought a makita version years and bought battery due to the antvibration feature. The tool still works but starlock only bits are costly.
