This is $2 more than the Frontpage deal earlier today, but it now includes 10% back in rewards on amount charged to prime visa.

Supposedly the difference between the models is "Sony released two variants of the Bravia 8 in 2025, the XR8B and the XR8C. They use the same processor and panel, with a few differences in software and promotions. In RTINGS' variant table, the K-77XR8B is the standard 2025 variant and the K-77XR8C is the 2025 Sam's Club variant. Sam's Club sells the XR8C directly, and currently lists it at $1,998. The Amazon listing is probably excess or channel stock."

Learn from my mistake. I spent $2,000 on a Sony Bravia 7 last year. It sucks. I just recently spent $198 for a 50-in TCL outside in my gazebo. And I swear to God I can't tell the difference in picture.

My Sony needs to be rebooted every single month because of some issue.

Does anybody have an opinion on the Costco one versus this one? Slightly different model number but $1,000 less here

I don't know about the Sony, but consider yourself lucky if the TCL makes it to 2 years. I had 2 of them die in less time.

my sony is one year old and i dont have confidence it will last. It loses volume all the time. Have to master reset. and one time it was making a clicking sound OFTEN when it was off (forums say bad relay) I had to open a ticket and they did an even more in depth reset. Fingers cross. 2k is a lot of money. THats like 5 TCLs lol

I've literally never seen a Sony tv stop working (10+ years) I have a 50 inch Hisense in a room that's on about 7-10+ hours daily since Black Friday 2022 that still works perfect. I have seen Vizio particularly die after 1-2 years. One was the 65in p65-f1 (great tv just didn't last) and the other was one of them 32 inch 1080p TVs died after almost 2 years of high usage. Now that Walmart owns Vizio I have to assume it's gotten even worse.

My Sony KDL-55EX710 from 2010 still works flawlessly, no dead pixels, no monitor issue whatsoever. My Toshiba from 2008 is also working flawlessly. I don't know if this much hyped TCL and LQ can stand the test of time like Sony and the old Toshiba before the company's television line was sold to Hisense. My next big screen will also be a Sony.
