You're better off just getting up camera system like Blink they can at least be used for a lot more than just one camera

Do the work and get wired NVR camera system. Reliable, and your footage never leaves your possession. We need to stop giving these companies all our subscriptions and data. Everything is becoming worse off for it

Battery dies so fast but if you like the idea of it working with a myQ garage setup there are after market hardwire and solar charging options. I would not buy again

Don't buy this for the camera. It's borderline useless unless you pay for a subscription. That said, the keypad works well and was super easy to setup with my garage door. I have found the batteries last 2-3 months at a time.

The battery dies fast. Like they have a pack with 2 batteries now. I like my keypad. Resolution is great and covered a blind spot for me. I waited on the free trial and they gave me a pretty big discount on a subscription

I'm not aware of a way to keep the camera off. When I was getting the free video service, I got 2-3 months of battery life. Without the video service, I'm at just about 3 months right now, so it will certainly exceed that estimate.

Battery life is terrible. Had to put it on a dedicated 2.4ghz network, otherwise it was always going offline. This may be because my home is stucco, see AI for a breakdown of this issue. As mentioned it's not really worth much without the subscription. It will literally not record 1 second unless you pay.
