Hahah... Looks like this was posted as a result of my comment regarding the post for the Lenovo Legion 5a (2026): 15.3" QHD+ 165Hz OLED, Ryzen 7 250, RTX 5060, 16GB DDR5, 512GB SSD $1299 - 2026-10-06. I still wonder which is better given price difference. Obviously the 5a is better than the 5, but is it $350 better...

For what it's worth, this is not a YMMV price. It's on their website. There is no dispute about it.

I think it is ymmv as it is in store only and it depends if you have a micro center near you and if they have it in stock. 4 hour drive to my cloest microcenter in the central us.

This is better so I'm in for 1.

Here's why:
$300 for an oled vs gaming IPS screen. No need. I love my oled Asus laptop but the difference is not worth $300.
This one has ryzen 7 260 with a top clock of 3.8ghz vs 3.3 on the 250.
Edit: I take it back. There are significant differences described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLe...av4Uu5OmAf

I don't need a gaming laptop, but this will be great for my little cousin so I'll still stick with the cheap version. If this is for me, I'll pay the extra $300.

I'm in Socal and store near me (Tustin) has 7 left.

You can reserve it online. You just need to pick it up in person
