Agreed, a complete travesty to put anti glare on qd-oled.

Are these really that bad that the price keeps dropping? I was on the fence @399 with a lot of the reports of dead pixels and having to return the monitor, refund, then repurchase. My main usage is on a Mac for productivity/web browsing. I look at spreadsheets and log files all day. My current 24" 1920x1200 Dell monitor isn't great compared to the PPI of the MacBook pro screen, but I need more screen real estate. At $350, should I pull the trigger and just deal with the "panel lottery"? I would really love the high PPI and 120hz+ refresh rate for smoother scrolling.

I don't think the price is dropping because of poor quality, the gaming monitor market is just dominated by OLED now. Even with a cool feature like 5K, I'm sure most people would prefer a 4K 240hz OLED and Samsung sells that for $550.

Great price but wouldn't be shocked if this dropped to $300, which would definitely hit must buy for me.

I think I'm going to hold out for $300 and then order two. Thanks!
