I don't always love refurbs, does anyone have any experience with Woot refurbs on items like this? It's only got a 90 day warranty. I've had great luck with my Ninja coffee maker but not so sure here.

A refurbished portable AC came with the wrong window attachments. They offered to send a label and give full refund, try to contact the maker and get me a replacement or send me a 25% refund. I took the refund, made my own window attachment. It took them a couple of days to respond but they took good care of my problem.

My Ninja Crispi ordered from Woot a few months ago shipped directly from Sohnen Enterprises Inc., a reputable refurbisher. It looks and operates like new; I couldn't be happier with it.

I bought this refurbished from woot for this exact price and couldn't tell it wasn't new. I don't use it as much as I'd like, but do really love it when I do.

After the machine couldn't churn my slightly icy preparation and I got metal shavings from the gear in my ice cream, I value the Costco policy way more.

They don't have a fail safe mechanism that will shut down the machine if it gets higher resistance. The machine will eat through the gears of that happens. And after a whole lot of prep and effort and freezing for a day, all it does churn for 2 mins; and even that it doesn't do well.

The joke at my home when I used it for the first time was that this was the single worst invention in the history of humanity and humans are regressing at an alarming pace.
