My account also shows a $1.50 coupon--YMMV.

I thought Kentucky 31 was not a good choice for lawns because it grows in clumps and is thick and coarse. It is meant for grazing or maybe a hilly side. Is this different?

You are correct.

Anyone looking at this for their lawn - if you want your lawn to resemble a carpet, nice turf, "quality lawn", etc. then don't get this. This is super clumpy, rough, wide thick blades and cannot be selectively killed as far as I know aside from painting each blade with a grass killer.

No, your understanding of Kentucky 31 is the same as mine.

This is not the type of grass you would normally put in your residential yard unless your goal was strictly to prevent erosion under the cars parked across it. Even then, there are better options that are slightly less expensive per lb and look much nicer.

Happy deal hunting.
