TEC582 comes across as a versatile ceramic spray and drying aid that adds slick lubrication, strong water beading, and a thin layer of protection. It is used on wet panels, paint, glass, wheels, and even interior surfaces, and it is often described as economical for the price. The scent is pleasant, and the gallon size makes it easy to refill spray bottles for regular maintenance. The main caveat is that dust and pollen can cling, and it is better treated as a maintenance enhancer than a full ceramic coating.

  • TEC582 can act as a slick drying aid on wet panels during car washing.

  • TEC582 can leave thin ceramic protection that helps water bead and glide.

  • TEC582 can support ceramic coating maintenance when applied after other washes.

  • TEC582 can be used on paint, glass, wheels, and most interior surfaces except carpet.

  • TEC582 can be economical for the price when used as a 1-3 month wax or drying aid.

  • Dilution guidance can conflict, with some instructions saying to never dilute and others suggesting distilled-water dilution.

  • TEC582 can be used without an underlying ceramic coating, but it may not function as a rinse-off spray product.

  • TEC582 can attract more dust than ONR during drying-aid use.

  • TEC582 can let dust and pollen stick more easily, which may require more frequent cleaning.

This is a really good 1-3 month wax that could be used as a drying aid. Very economical for the price.

Great stuff. This is more of a ceramic enhancer. So if you already have a real ceramic coat, use this after every other wash to maintain the ceramic.

do you use it full strength or do you dilute it a bit with water?

Big fan of this product. I've only used it full strength. I use it as a drying aid on a wet panel, or on dry panel if I want a little more durability.

LOVE this stuff. I left a review with photos on Amazon for this one. You can use it on the paint, the glass, the wheels, and pretty much anything on the interior except carpet. It's got a very pleasant scent to it. I use it on my golf clubs, my carbon fiber floor standing speakers...you get my drift it is VERY versatile. I can attest it does work very well with my ceramic coating and I use it about once or twice a month.

That said, this is about normal price. If you've never used it, get it you won't be disappointed. And to fix the problem of the gallon jug for all us slick dealers we can just empty out old spray bottles and use them but if you want you can also buy a good quality spray bottle at Lowe's for about $6 if you're rich and got money to burn.

Full strength. Never dilute a detail spray/ceramic spray.

I think you're supposed to to dilute this with distilled water

TEC582 provides much better lubrication as a drying aid. It's super slick and easy to apply. It also leaves behind a thin ceramic protection so water beads and glides off it, but I do think it attracts more dust than ONR.

Ok so let me understand. After I have washed my car but before I dry it I spray this on and then wipe this and the water off? My car is not ceramic coated. Can I still use it?

Yes use it as a drying aid or spray wax essentially. It's not a spray on rinse off product. Complely fine to use without a underlying ceramic coatimg
