I bought it's twin (more or less) for the same $10 a few months ago. Not using it for jewelry, it's just deep enough to put a two-stroke carburetor in, and clean it up. For that purpose, on this price, this is a deal IMNSHO.
BTW, 70% isopropyl alcohol is a nice cleaning agent especially combined with just a tad of dish detergent like Dawn
