This laptop may be an appealing budget gaming laptop on paper, but buyers should pay close attention to its power limits. Acer runs the RTX 5070 at a substantially lower wattage than many competing gaming laptops, meaning it often delivers performance closer to higher-powered RTX 5060 systems than to full-performance RTX 5070 implementations (for example, its FPS is generally lower than a Legion 5a with an RTX 5060). The Nitro V's thermal and power design prevent the GPU from reaching its full potential.
