I like the idea of having a battery with a metal case, but the orange plastic 12v 314ah battery is regularly $350 or less with coupons from AliExpress. It's hard to justify the ~50% premium when you can just buy a metal battery box and still be ahead by $100. That being said, having the terminals on the front is nice so you can stack them more easily. If these were closer to $400 I might be tempted, but I have 2 of the other kind and I think I'll grab more of that one if I need more in the future.

Similarly, I have now bought 4 of the 280ah metal case batts and haven't paid more than $250 a piece during aliexpress sales, they are regularly in the $250-300 range.
