Medium avocados are showing an unusually low Amazon Grocery price in some areas, with checkout examples around 25 to 26 cents and occasional reports of 33 cents or $1.25 depending on location and seller. The deal can work as a bulk buy for smoothies or guacamole, with orders of 20 or even 100 avocados mentioned. Amazon Grocery delivery appears to be free overnight in some carts, but a $3.99 delivery fee can also appear and make the offer less appealing. A solid pickup when the local price lands at the low end.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The medium Hass avocado can show as $0.26 in some areas, but other locations show different pricing such as $1.25 sold by Whole Foods. Availability can also differ by market, with some areas not seeing the Amazon-sold option at all.
Yes, multiple quantities have been ordered at the low price, including 2, 20, and even 100 avocados in separate orders. The deal has been used for smoothies and guacamole, but stock and pricing can disappear quickly by location.
It can appear as an Amazon Grocery order with free overnight delivery in a 4-hour window rather than an Amazon Fresh delivery. That means it may arrive while you are asleep, so it is best suited to non-perishable items or a delivery window you can receive.
A $3.99 delivery fee can apply regardless of order size, which can erase the savings on a small avocado order. If the fee is charged in your area, the deal is only worthwhile when you are buying enough items to offset it.
