Top Comments
That Daily Deal is a real, operational business, but it carries a high risk of poor product quality and nonexistent customer service.
While it is not a direct credit-card-stealing scam, customer reviews across platforms like PissedConsumer and ResellerRatings point out significant drawbacks:
* Product Quality: Items are frequently cheap off-brand liquidations, factory seconds, or closeouts that may not match the listed descriptions or rugged claims.
* Shipping Times: Delivery often takes weeks or over a month because items are shipped via budget postal methods.
* Customer Support: Resolving issues (like receiving damaged, defective, or missing items) is notoriously difficult, with customers reporting unanswered emails and strict 7-day return limits.
Recommendation: If you decide to order, treat it as a high-risk purchase: use a payment method with strong buyer protection (like PayPal or a credit card) so you can file a chargeback if your item never arrives or is defective.
Community Reviews
This 45 liter tactical backpack is drawing interest as a very cheap, roomy bag for camping, trunk storage, or a bug out kit. The low price makes it easy to treat as a gamble, and the same bag appears elsewhere for much more. The main cautions are that the listed capacity may be closer to 40 liters or less, the color is random unless you pay more elsewhere, and durability looks questionable, with reports of bags ripping easily. Shipping can also be slow, so PayPal offers extra protection.
Common Questions (5)
ThatDailyDeal.com is a real, operating discount retailer, and the company has been used successfully for prior orders. Shipping can be slow, often taking 3-4 weeks, and the site has a reputation for inconsistent product quality and difficult returns, so buyer protection matters.
Shipping is often slow, with deliveries reported in about 10 days in one case and 3-4 weeks in others. Budget shipping methods can stretch the wait, so it is not a fast-arrival deal.
The deal appears to ship random colors, so you may not be able to pick. A sister site, 13deals, reportedly offers the same style for about $10 more with three color choices.
It is described as an off-brand, low-cost bag that may be more about looks than durability. One warning says these bags rip easily, so it is better suited to light use or a gamble at this price than hard abuse.
The listed dimensions of 48 × 28 × 30 cm work out to about 40.3L, not 45L. With the stated 1-2 cm manual measurement error, the actual capacity may be smaller still, around the mid-30L range.
