These parchment air fryer liners are mainly about easier cleanup and simpler food removal, while still letting food cook and crisp normally for many basket foods. They help catch crumbs and grease, keep the drawer cleaner, and can make it easier to lift out fries, wings, chicken, or flatter foods. The main caution is airflow and fire risk, since liners can shift or ignite if used empty or without food holding them down. A practical pick if cleanup matters more than using the bare basket.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. They catch crumbs and grease, keep the basket and pull-out container cleaner, and make removing food easier, especially for larger or flatter items. The tray may still need washing, but cleanup is much faster.
They can restrict airflow somewhat, but food still cooks and crisps normally for many items, including bacon, fries, wings, and chicken. Flat foods like patties may cook unevenly unless flipped halfway or propped so air can move underneath.
Yes, if they are used empty or not held down by food, they can rise into the heating element and ignite. Preheating the fryer first, then placing the liner under food, helps keep it in place and reduces the fire risk.
They are used as a foil replacement for easier cleanup, but they still need airflow and can be pulled into the heating element if left empty. Foil or a silicone tray may be preferred by some for durability, while these liners are mainly for disposable cleanup convenience.
The listing discussion puts them in the higher-temp parchment category, with claims they can hold up around 420-450°F. That matters because lower-rated liners may break down sooner in hotter air fryers.

They do work to help keep things cleaner with only limited effect on hot air distribution as far as I can tell. But the other main reason I use then is it makes getting your food out much easier. The deep bucket madness it difficult to get a spatula in if you have good that needs to be scooped out. And although other this like fries or wings could easily be removed with tongs obviously, I prefer to remove good on the liner, directly only a plate/serving tray. I'll grab one edge if the liner and slowly pull while tilting to "pour" the fryer bucket, where the food/liner stays level while I keep dumping the bucket and it nicely slides out obviously to plate. Then I slide the liner out from under the food leaving it in the plate. Sounds convoluted but it's a really simple quick process and makes it so much easier getting stuff out in my experience, especially for larger or flat things you would traditionally want to use a spatula for.
But Alexa on the site reports:
"Customers consistently report that food cooks and crisps normally when using these liners — including bacon, fries, wings, and chicken. The paper doesn't interfere with air circulation or heat transfer.
Customers specifically mention that crispy results compare well to cooking directly on the basket, making these great for getting the texture you want while keeping cleanup minimal."

How I use them: Preheat the air fryer, take out the drawer, place the liner down, and place food to air fry on top of the liner. Make sure the food holds the liner in place. Then put the drawer back in the air fryer and cook at whatever temperature is needed. By following these steps the food keeps the liner in place and the air fryer fries the food.
I noticed some food doesn't crisp up as much (french fries, one example) when using the liner, but it's still worth using the liners as it saves a bunch of clean-up time. After you are done air frying, take the food off the liner then dump the liner in the trash. Most of the time no oil/grease escaped or soaked through the liner, and no time needs to be spent cleaning the air fryer tray/drawer.
Yes it's uneven heating and that's the price you pay for having less to clean up.
No different from stoves and foils in the bottom. Sure its uneven heating but the food still gets cooked.
It wouldn't be so bad with a metal pan because the metal gets hot, which pan fries the food even if it doesn't effectively air fry. But placing paper over the metal air fryer basket doesn't even allow effective pan frying since it insulates the food from the hot metal.
Don't line your air fryer basket if you want effective air frying.
I won't trust items made in China that touches my food directly, especially in high heat.
I guess you don't like Chinese food, because that wok used in high heat stir frying is certainly made in China. Good luck avoiding Chinese products from touching your food.
