Not sure of I have much use for stubby ratchets, but at this price it's hard to pass up for a whole set of three.

I use them when I work on my cars under the hood. Sometimes you don't want to bust out a power tool just to loosen a bolt or nut in a tight space.

It's useful if you do alot of automotive work. Only reason I could see it being useful for home use is RTA furniture, shelving, etc.

I got the Workpro stubby ratchets on the last deal and am impressed with how stout they are. Serviceable ratchet mechanism, smooth operation.

I cut down a junk ratchet to use at arm's length to remove the starter on my excavator. Sometimes you need a short ratchet for tight spots.

This is not something you buy today because you need it. The real purpose of the stubby ratchets is to sit in your tool box, possibly for years, waiting for that ONE TIME you it saves your ass. It is at that point in time you will thank yourself for having these around.

Every loves a cool meme tool! I have a handful of WorkPro tools, the have been hit and miss with the majority being reasonably good for the price.

When you need them, they are well worth the money. If you don't repair a lot, you probably don't need them.

Yes to both. I rarely use my standard ratchets anymore. It's either stubby or longer flex head.
